Can I add another copy of the game to my pledge?
Yes, after the campaign ends! We’re including game copies as an add-on in Backerkit for a discounted price for anyone pledging to the Reflection tier or above.
They aren’t included as an add-on for the Kickstarter as we will be better able to keep track of add-ons (such as additional game keys) via Backerkit.
This will also be how you can add another game key to your pledge if you wish to have it on both Steam and Itch.io.

Will there be a mobile or console version of OSAS?
Though we’d love to offer OSAS on a handheld screen or console, there are currently only plans for a PC, Mac, and Linux version of Of Sense and Soul.

Why is beta access only offered for single routes and not both?
As the story is split into two routes with only a short prologue serving as the “common” route, we believe the playtesting process would be benefitted if testers had access to either Hugo or Seamus’ route, and not both. This will allow us to act on feedback and provide test builds specific to what either routes’ testers would like to see.
It also means that testers will experience the other perspective for the first time when the final game arrives in the Early Access period, giving testers something to look forward to!

The demo is from both Hugo and Seamus' perspectives—how will it be in the full game?
The demo alternates between Hugo and Seamus’ chapters for Act 1 in order to give you a taste of both, and a look at how their stories converge!
The final game will only allow playthrough from one perspective or the other at a time, so you’d play through Acts 1-3 from either Hugo or Seamus’ perspectives rather than alternating between them. (Of course, you can keep different save files if you’d like to alternate them yourself!)

What will be included in the Print Ephemera Bundle?
The art for items included in the Print Ephemera Bundle included in the limited Collection, Archive, Omnibus, and Opal tiers is not complete, hence the lack of preview on the page itself.
It will include a minimum of 2 die-cut stickers, one A5 art print, a small booklet/zine, and Victoriana inspired printed goodies, like the novelty receipt pictured in the campaign page. The pre-existing digital rewards (artbook, making-of book, and sketch zine) will not be included as physicals in this bundle.
The stickers will be made from responsibly sourced weather/water proof paper, and be 100% recyclable and 100% PVC free. Where possible, responsibly sourced paper/inks and recyclable and/or reused packaging will be used in printing and fulfilling physical rewards.

Are there any plans for full voicing?
As much as we’d love to include full voice acting as a Stretch Goal, we believe this would put too much pressure on the production process at this time, and so are only planning for partial voice acting at this time.

How will "period-typical" negative stereotypes be handled for the Victorian setting?
Of Sense and Soul is written with the intention of portraying queer individuals and voices in history in a positive, heartfelt way. Although the setting is intended to be believably historic, our narrative does not display or provide a platform for discrimination of marginalised peoples, moralistic perspectives, or other prejudices of the time.
While we do not shy away from referring to these prejudices, the story will never hinge on them.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
